My Story

Hi, I’m Genie Wang — mindfulness coach, yoga teacher, and mom of three (yes, three — including two high school student athletes who keep life beautifully chaotic).

I came to mindfulness the way most people do: through burnout. Between the demands of motherhood, career, and the constant pressure to hold everything together, I hit a wall. What brought me back wasn’t a dramatic overhaul. It was small, intentional moments. A breath. A pause. A practice that finally felt like mine.

Since 2020, I’ve been guiding overwhelmed moms, high-performing professionals, and driven individuals back to themselves. I hold a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification, a Wellness Coach Certificate from Cornell University, and training as a Lifestyle Medicine Advocate. I’m currently completing my Master’s degree in Sports and Performance Psychology because I believe the mind is the most powerful muscle we have.

My book Mindful Moments started it all. Now I’m channeling everything I’ve learned into programs that actually fit your real life, starting with the 5-Day Reset for Overwhelmed Moms, with more courses on the way for athletes, professionals, and anyone ready to stop running on empty.

My Passion

I’m passionate about making mindfulness feel less like a luxury and more like a lifeline.

Too many people think they need the perfect setup before they can start. The quiet room. The free hour. The right app. I’m here to break that myth. Mindfulness can happen in the carpool line. In the two minutes before a meeting. In the middle of a chaotic Tuesday with three kids asking for three different things at once.

My work is rooted in one belief: every person, no matter how busy or burned out, has the capacity to come home to themselves. I’ve seen it happen for moms who thought they had no time. For executives who thought they had no feelings. For young athletes learning to perform from a place of calm instead of fear.

That intersection of mindfulness, performance, and real everyday life is where I live. And it’s what drives everything I create, from the 5-Day Reset to the programs I’m building for high performers, corporate teams, and student athletes coming soon.

My goal is simple: to help you feel like yourself again. Not a better or optimized version of yourself. Just you. Grounded, present, and clear.
